Unless you have busted your hand, you will always have at least two options:
• You may stand hoping that the dealer will bust or stand on a hand of lesser value.
• You may hit hoping that the next card will bring you closer to 21 without busting.
• You may double your bet getting only one more card to add to your initial hand.
• You may split the initial hands if they are cards of equal value to build two hands.
• You may surrender getting back half of your initial bet.
• You may insure a hand when the dealer’s upcard is an ace so that an additional bet at half the original bet can earn 2 to 1 if the dealer has blackjack.
